Ridley Scott’s new film is a post-apocalyptic thriller set in a world ravaged by a virus. It tells the story of Hig, a young pilot who, along with a survivalist military officer named Bangley, has built a functional but isolated home in a post-apocalyptic world, until a mysterious radio transmission compels Hig to venture into the unknown in search of the hope and humanity he still believes exists.
